Health Reform Deceit

Newsweek Magazine published an article this week, pointing out some of the lies that misguided people are spreading about health reform.

I read this article with interest.
As a UK resident already having access to a a national health service I am finding the whole debate fascinating.
With regards to the last point, that the government will set doctors wages, this is not the case with our doctors. Doctors run their own practices and the governenment pays them the for the services they perform for the NHS, they are then free to expand their own business to increase their earnings as they see fit. For example they can add a pharmacy, provice private practise support etc etc.
Inside of hospitcals, consultants provide nhs and private practise treatment to their patients.
I have not heard of one doctor complaining that the NHS limits their income.
